Gabriella D’Cruz
The Good Ocean is a seaweed company that sells wild harvested local Indian seaweed B-B to restaurants and beauty companies. Gabriella is a marine conservationist with a Master’s in Biodiversity Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford. She has spent the last 8 years working in the marine space in India. She started The Good Ocean with the objective of building awareness around seaweed forests and calling for more sustainable and ethical harvesting practices. Gabriella hopes to create new supply chains in India that offers coastal communities better pay for harvested or farmed seaweed. She lives in Goa with her dog Nori.
